| Youth | The Program goal is to train youth to become better communicators in everyday life, at both the personal and the vocational level, by teaching them life skills training, such as leadership, conflict resolution and human communication in theory and practice. It familiarizes participants to assumptions we make about communication and key elements of the communication process in an interactive, culturally relevant, and practical manner. Special emphasis are placed on “here and now” dynamics and the opportunity to enhance oral and written presentation skills.
When trained and empowered, youth will be able to advocate for their rights and participate in decision making.

| | Advocacy | Because of the densification of Beirut and the cement boxes we are living in, public life is deteriorating more and more. Problems are arising in many aspects; psychological and sociological as well as heath problems. The areas for interaction and exchange are disappearing which is alienating our society and causing these sorts of problems.
Our perception to the problem was conducted in a scientific approach, covering researches and surveys that all strengthened the following: our need to pubic space as an essential component in our everyday lives. Horsh Beirut, an urban park in Beirut city that has been closed to the public since 1992 was our main and first target. Our goal is to re-open Horsh Beirut to the public, providing a space for people to meet and offering all the aspects of everyday needs. By providing this space, we believe that we are providing a new platform for a behavioral change in Beirut citizens towards their public life, aiming a healthier aspect.
