Registration Date: 19-2-2009

Nahnoo is a nonsectarian and nonpartisan youth-lead organization that aspires to provide a platform for young Lebanese to engage in activities that promote self-development and self-expression and gain the skills necessary to contribute to their communities meaningfully and peacefully.

Vision:
Youth are effective leaders who participate in the decision making which affects their lives at all levels.

Mission:
Nahnoo seeks to develop respect and acceptance of differences between youth in Lebanon to break psychosocial and cultural borders among them through advocating for public spaces and developing their soft skills.
Nahnoo also seeks to support and collaborate with worldwide Civil Society Organizations to conduct cultural exchange programs in Lebanon and abroad which promote intercultural understanding and tolerance among youth.

Target group and geographical area:
Nahnoo basically works in the suburbs of Beirut that are high conflict zones and where Youth constitutes 50 percent of the population. These suburbs harbor people from heterogeneous backgrounds from all the Lebanese areas and villages. By working with the population of the suburbs, Nahnoo believes that it is reaching all the areas in Lebanon; people in the suburbs will get to their villages and spread what they have learnt from the activities. In other words, the activities' objectives will reach a great number of Lebanese.
